Q. Why do architects outsource 3D massing?
Architects often outsource 3D massing models and concept models since it saves them both money and time. The most time consuming process an architect’s business is 3D modeling from architectural drawings, which needs to be accurate. Outsourcing high end work like 3D rendering and modeling to countries like China and India are usually cheaper, and the time difference often works in our favor when a client send us the floor plans at the end of his day, and we work throughout his night and we can deliver the completed model to him at the end of our day which is his morning.
