Q. I have a project that I want others to see yet at the same time I need to protect my work. Can I watermark my SketchUp project?
Watermarking is one of the new features in the SketchUp Pro 6 package. The Watermarks element enables you to set 2D images behind or in front of models, and can also be used to create backgrounds and textures. You can also place a logo image over models as “confidential” or “for review”. While the watermarks tool can be used to protect ones work, this only works if the person you are sending it to is viewing the model with the SketchUp viewer. If they open the files with SketchUp Pro, the Watermarks and images can be removed.
