The Style Builder tool in Google SketchUp is a new software to create your own unique styles that you can use and share for SketchUp. Using this tool you can create customized sketchy-edge Styles. You can apply these Styles to your models to make them look hand-drawn. Sketchy-edge Styles can look like anything -- wavy pencil lines, quick pen strokes, and marks from a fat stick of graphite -- if you can get them into your computer, you can make them into a Style.
Before you begin using Style Builder, you are required to sketch a few lines onto a template and feed the program with the data, it takes a couple of seconds for the software to analyze your strokes and when it is done, you can apply the new style to your models to make the 3d model appears as if it was hand-drawn by you.
The final output is debatable though – is it your own creativity or is it computer generated? This useful tool is here to stay. Style Builder simply puts the Sketch back into SketchUp!
