Q. Is there a way to view a Google SketchUp model online in a way that allows someone to "walk" through the model? Or, is the only option to just have them download the application and view it offline?
The 2 main ways to do this are:
1) The Pro version of SketchUp supports the exportation of walkthroughs to MOV files that can be uploaded online on a website and they can then be viewed as a regular video clip, without having to download the SU viewer and viewing it offline. The Pro version costs USD $495.
2) Use a screen capture recording software like Frontcam screen recorder, which will enable you to capture your walkthrough as you play it on the free version of SU. It records all your movements, as they appear on your screen, which you can then export and post online as a AVI or MOV file.
