We optimize and render panels that are then used to make ventilated facades. This service is useful for Architects and Engineers. When we quote on a project we do the following: maximize the standard panel’s size while trying to follow the Architect or Engineers concept idea.
Usually they provide us with a CAD drawing plan and sections and a rendered image. A standard an efficient panel size would be 1800 x 780 mm or 1200 x 780 mm or 1200 x 1610 mm etc. We try to see if those panels can be used to cover the facades or if we can get close to those dimensions.
When working on the actual layout, we have to consider the dimension of the substructure which “elongates” the wall of mm 100/110/.../140/etc... We then take each custom size panel and place them inside a certain number of “standard panel skeletons” in order to find out how many “standard panels” would be required for that specific project.
Some projects require that we render and fit the panels based on the drawings and plans that are provided to us. While other projects specify that we build SketchUp models of the buildings themselves and then fit the panels accordingly, into the structure.
