Follow Me Tool

The 'Follow Me' tool is an interesting tool which can be used for a variety of things. The tool works similar to the 'Push/Pull' tool. When you use the 'Push/Pull' tool it creates a 3 dimensional object from a flat 2 dimensional surface.

Similarly the 'Follow Me' tool allows you to create a 3 dimensional object from any 2 dimensional surface, except instead of extending the flat surface along a straight line, the 'Follow Me' tool allows you to extend the surface along any curved or even hand drawn line.

To show you a simple use of the 'Follow Me' tool lets do a little exercise to create a frame for a painting. First we will create a cross section of the painting frame. A cross section of any object is like a slice of it. For instance a cross section of a column would be a circle.
