Offset Tool

The 'Offset' tool is used to create a copy of a shape sized either larger or smaller than the current one.

We will use the 'Offset' tool along with some others we have covered in previous sections to make a simple door.

Exercise:

1. Click on the Front view button to switch to the front view.
2. Use the 'Rectangle' tool and create a rectangle.
3. Now click the 'Offset' tool and click anywhere on the border of the rectangle you just created. Now move your mouse within the rectangle and click, you will see another rectangle within the first one.
